Post Graduate Diploma in Disaster Management
The programme offers an opportunity to develop specialist knowledge. Students will be required to choose any one the following four topics for their two months project :-

• Remote Sensing, Public Health and Disaster Management
• Governance in Disaster Management
• Logistics Management and Service Delivery Systems
Duration:
One-year full time programme, however, students will have an option for exit programme for certificate after first semester.

As an emerging field, demand for personnel qualified in Disaster Management is very high. Students who graduate with this degree have opportunities in the development sector with government and non-government organizations, with consultancy firms, or can pursue research, training and teaching careers.
