Symbiosis Institute of Geoinformatics has continually strived to take the learning to intellectually challenging platform, ever since its inception in 2004. SIG has been a pacesetter in Geoinformatics education and has now evolved into a repository of rich accumulated experience. Its M.Sc. program caters to the requirements of students and serves the felt needs of the industry to entire satisfaction of both the students and the industry.

Each member of SIG community strives to achieve excellence in its every endeavour-be it education, research, innovative projects or training-by making continuous improvements in curricula and pedagogical tools, in interesting and novel ways in order to fulfil its mission.

Our aim is to create an environment where we are in a position to mould our students to stretch and strive hard to be better. SIG has delivered its promise of opening minds and changing lives so far. It has created innovative, progressive and competitive attitude that has been developed over its five years existence.
