Over and above the sanctioned intake:-

Jammu and Kashmir Migrants : 2 seats per programme.
International Students including NRIs : 15%.

Eligibility:
Graduates in Engineering, IT, Science, Computer Science, Agriculture,
Environmental, Management, Geology, Geography and Commerce with a
minimum of 50% marks.
Final year students awaiting results may also apply.
Selection Procedure:
Through SNAP Test.
Snap test scheduled on 21st December 2008. For further details visit http://snaptest.org/
Based on qualification in the SNAP test , candidates will be called for Group Discussion(GD), Personal Interview (PI) and Communication Skills written test to be held during the second week of March 2009 at Pune. Final date for the GD and PI will be intimated to respective candidates by 25th February 2009. Prospectus and Application Form can be acquired online or from select centers in major cities. Prospectus and Application Form are also available at the institute office on payment of Rs 1350/- for Indian students in cash. Essential Documents for Confirmation of Admission : All admissions are provisional and are subject to approval by the SIU. All students must ensure submission of one copy each of the following documents duly attested by a Gazetted Officer before 30th August 2009 for submission by the Institute to SIU:-

Statement of Marks.
Post Graduation / Graduation Certificate.
Migration Certificate.
Caste Certificate issued by competent authority of respective state/ Central Govt, if applicable.
Affidavit for change in name, if applicable.

Producing originals along with the attested copy for verification is mandatory.

Note:- Candidates are personally responsible to ascertain whether they possess the requisite qualifications for admission. Having been admitted provisionally does not mean acceptance of eligibility. Final eligibility for admission will be decided by Symbiosis International University.

Important Dates
On line registration for SNAP test :- Monday , 25th November 2008.
SNAP Test : - Sunday, 21st December 2008.
Submission of application form : Tuesday, 20th February 2009.
Group Discussion and Personal Interview : Tentatively second week of March 2009.
Course Commences on :- Friday , 5th June 2009.

International Students
Admissions of all International students are done through The International Office of Symbiosis

Postgraduate Level Categories under International Students Admissions:

As an international student, you are eligible to apply as a Foreign National (FN) if you hold a Foreign Passport.

As an international student, you are eligible to apply as a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) if you have a PIO card, and are a citizen of a country other than India.

As an international student, you are eligible to apply as a Non Resident Indian (NRI) if you have appeared for your 10+2 examination outside India, and have appeared for your graduation either in India or outside India.
NOTE:
  • All students applying for Postgraduate level through this NRI category will have to appear for a Group Discussion and Personal Interview organized by the International Office.
  • All students applying for Postgraduate and Undergraduate level through this FN category will have to submit English Proficiency score If you fall into any of the above mentioned categories and wish to apply to our institute, kindly contact The International Office for details on the admission procedure
NOTE:
  • No donation or capitation fees is required to be paid for admission to any course offered by Symbiosis International University .Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within or outside the campus and anyone indulging in such activity is expelled from the institute (The Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act, 1999 refers)
